A show of support for Japan

(From left) Shin-ichiro Imai, MD, PhD, associate professor of developmental biology, helps Larry J. Shapiro, MD, executive vice chancellor for medical affairs and dean of the School of Medicine, with a T-shirt supporting Japanese earthquake relief, while Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton gets help from Sachiko Hoshi, wife of Masoto Hoshi, PhD, a postdoctoral research associate, April 6 in the Shell Lobby in the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building at the School of Medicine. Imai and Hoshi are members of the Japanese Happy Hour, a scientific study group of Japanese researchers. It was the second T-shirt sale for the group, which is designating 100 percent of proceeds to relief organizations including the Japanese Red Cross. To view a slideshow of the event, click here.
