School of Medicine school supply drive runs through Aug. 12

Though the long, hot St. Louis summer continues, it’s already time to think about sending the children back to school! To ensure that all students have the best opportunity to learn and thrive, Washington University School of Medicine is again sponsoring its annual school supply drive to benefit Adams Elementary School in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood.

The school supply drive runs from July 25–Aug. 12. Children from kindergarten through 6th grade stand to benefit from the generosity of School of Medicine students, faculty and staff.

So, think back to your own school days — the excitement of a new notebook, clean white, lined paper and freshly sharpened pencils — and give generously.

Collection boxes are available at six School of Medicine locations:

  • 4480 Clayton Ave.
  • Admissions Office
  • The Dean’s Suite
  • Becker Medical Library
  • 4444 Forest Park Ave.
  • CSRB North Tower, Suite 301
