Financial Freedom Seminar: Time to plan is now

'Building the Foundation to your Financial Legacy' theme of 2013 seminar

In remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr., the Society of Black Student Social Workers (SBSSW) and the Office of Student Affairs at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis will host its annual Financial Freedom Seminar on Saturday, Jan. 19.

“Building the Foundation to your Financial Legacy,” takes place from 9 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. in Goldfarb Hall. It is free and open to the public.

The seminar is designed for St. Louis community youth and adults interested in building wealth, repairing and maintaining good credit, purchasing a home or starting and expanding a business. A keynote speaker will be followed by presentations and breakout sessions and lunch will be provided.
