The Washington University Medical Center campus is being transformed in the next decade by renovations and new construction as part of the Campus Renewal Project. Construction at the Medical Center is taking place at Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s hospitals and the School of Medicine. Views from a live webcam showing the progress are available via this link.
The first phase includes an expansion of St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Siteman Cancer Center, as well as expansion of Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s women and infants’ services, surgical programs and diagnostics. It also calls for new space for university faculty practice offices and clinics, parking and additional green space.
