Christopher “Kit” Wellman, PhD, has won the 2015 Berger Memorial Prize, awarded to an outstanding published article in philosophy of law.
Wellman, chair of the Department of Philosophy in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, is being honored for his article, “The Rights Forfeiture Theory of Punishment,” published in the journal Ethics in 2012.
He will receive the award at the 2015 Pacific division meeting. Learn more about the Berger Memorial Prize.
