Biography

Christine Knoblauch-O'Neal, Senior Lecturer in the Performing Arts Department, performed for twenty years with such companies as American Ballet Theater, the National Ballet, Dancers, and the Cincinnati Ballet. Ms. O’Neal danced in the film Turning Point, performed as Kristine in A Chorus Line, toured with Dancers to Italy’s Spoleto Festival, danced in a live telecast of Live from Lincoln Center featuring ABT’s Swan Lake, and won a bronze medal at the International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria. Ms. O’Neal has performed in the faculty concert, Dance Close-Up, and also choreographs for the Washington University Dance Theater. Ms. O’Neal’s choreography has also been seen in the department’s productions of Cabaret, A Little Night Music, The Beggar’s Opera, The Fantasticks, Company, Tartuffe, The Pirates of Penzance, and most recently in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
