Three seniors in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis have been chosen for the Society of Illustrators’ 2015 Student Scholarship Competition exhibition.
Sophia Brown, Sungsub Kim and Katherine McCarter — all seniors in communication design — were among approximately 160 students chosen from more than 2,200 applicants by a jury of professional illustrators, art directors and other peers.

Their works will be on view May 6-30 at the society’s Museum of American Illustration in New York. An awards ceremony will be held May 8.
